This is the handy work of a beloved friend, Stephen Gencarelli. I’d like to congratulate him on his first store opening and wish him nothing but AMAZING success!

I’ll be tasting and reviewing numerous wines from his store for the next couple of months and hope you will find some that you would be interested in purchasing to try for yourself.

Brancott Sauvignon Blanc 2007 – Marlborough, New Zealand - $11.99

Zingy citrus notes take over in this dry, crisp white wine.  Flavors of fresh lemon and lime will make it a perfect food-pairing wine for the summer months. Earthy green bell pepper notes on the nose and herbal notes on the tongue. A long finish will hold up to most food dishes. Great with grilled artichokes, pasta salads, fresh peas, asparagus and light fish dishes such as tilapia and halibut.
