Wine.com’s Steward Ship Program - FANTASTIC!

This morning I received an email from wine.com who has started something I think is wonderful:

The Steward Shipping Program.

For $49, you get unlimited standard shipping for the ENTIRE YEAR! And there is no minimum purchase, which is fantastic! Do you know what that means? You can virtually shop and shop and shop and ship as much as you want to your home or business and all it’ll cost you for the whole year is $49! As someone who is constantly shopping online for her favorite wines, I have to tell you, nothing hurts more than having to pay out $20 extra clams each time I want to buy some wine.  It starts to get expensive. On top of it, this program not only applies to wine, you can ship wine gifts and accessories, like cutesy little bottle stoppers and wine openers to friends and family.

A few Cons:

• You can’t use it for everything that wine.com sells. For instance, wine cellars are off limits with this promo, along with the wine club memberships (but that’s ok because the s/h cost is usually built into those programs).
• You also can not purchase this as a gift for someone.
• It’s a promotion code based offer, so you can’t combine other promotions with this program, but you can still shop the wines on sale.

I’m giving this 2 thumbs WAY UP! I can’t say that anyone else is rocking this kind of great program out there in the wine world, but I wouldn’t mind being proven wrong either.
